A cheap night in

A friend texted me today. Her son and husband are out of town for the weekend and she stayed behind because she has to work tomorrow. She is bored out of her mind.

Normally, we would head out to dinner. Last time we were bored we got lunch, pedicures, waxed eyebrows and a small shopping spree at Bath and Body Works. (Not my most frugal moment, I will admit. I was suffering from surgery induces wackyness and if I didn't do something quick would have completely lost it!)

Said friend has a few hundred movies - including some cheesy kung fu movies in Chinese. Tomorrow, I am making dinner and she is bringing her movies over. I might just make her translate a few movies for me. (She is fluent.)

So we will have an evening of fun and it won't cost either of us a penny.
